LA Knight has addressed his ‘botched’ elbow drop at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 this past Saturday in Chicago.
A clip that has done the rounds since the Chamber PLE has been Knight’s attempted elbow drop to Randy Orton, which saw Knight attempt to spring from the second rope to the top rope before landing his elbow drop.
However, when jumping to the top, Knight slipped off the ropes and ended up having to talk over the Orton, stomp him, then deliver an elbow drop from a standing position instead.
Knight has now taken to his Instagram story to address the incident, writing:
“Haha it happens… yet even if I fall, I land on my feet”
Another video has gone around on social media showing Orton’s reaction as he rolled out of the ring and started laughing with the crowd.
Knight was eliminated by Logan Paul shortly after the moment.
It was Randy Orton who went on to win the Elimination Chamber match, earning him an Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 18 or 19.
