Kairi Sane has commented after being involved in the attack on IYO Sky that closed out last night’s episode of WWE Raw.
With Asuka having lost her match against Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY found herself on the receiving end of an attack by her former teammates, with Ripley unable to intervene, having been blinded by mist.
While Ripley was able to comfort SKY after WWE Raw went off air, it’s clear that there’s no going back for SKY, Asuka and Sane.
Kairi Sane was notably reluctant to attack IYO SKY, with Asuka pushing her to get involved, even then showing a seeming initial lack of commitment.
Posting to Twitter after the main event of WWE Raw, Kairi Sane celebrated her 37th birthday, sharing a photo of herself backstage and a message that reads:
“Happy Birthday to me……💔”
The message finished with a broken-heart emoji, suggesting that there’s some remorse in Sane’s own actions.
Bayley has since mocked IYO SKY after the collapse of the remaining vestiges of Damage CTRL.
Asuka had previously been frustrated by Rhea Ripley’s relationship with SKY, who would go on to comment after the betrayal.
