John Cena has shared some final messages ahead of his first WWE appearance following his major heel turn, amid his retirement tour.
With many believing Cena attacking Cody Rhodes and aligning with The Rock at Elimination Chamber was one of the biggest moments in wrestling history, there has been a lot of speculation about what’s next for the 16-time World Champion.
Both John Cena and Cody Rhodes will be in the building for the March 17 Raw episode, marking the first time both stars will be in the same building following Elimination Chamber.
John Cena has now shared a couple of social media posts ahead of his Raw return.
On Instagram – where John Cena posts photos without captions for his fans’ own interpretations – Cena shared a photo of the Joker, who many consider to be one of the greatest villains of all time.
Cena shared a photo of Cesar Romero’s Joker specifically, which you can view below.
John Cena also took to Twitter to share an interesting choice for his inspirational quote of the day, writing:
When someone is properly grounded in life, they shouldn’t have to look outside themselves for approval.
Following his Elimination Chamber match victory, John Cena will challenge for Cody Rhodes’ WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.
If Cena wins this match, he will become a 17-time WWE world champion, breaking his and Ric Flair’s recognised record of 16 world title reigns.
Cena’s days in the ring are numbered, with the former champion set to hang up his jorts for good at the end of 2025, when his retirement tour concludes.
