A major update has emerged regarding John Cena’s WWE schedule ahead of WrestleMania 41.
With just over a week to go until John Cena challenges Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, WWE has now added the 16-time champion to the WrestleMania 41 go-home edition of SmackDown on April 18 from Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
As can be seen via the event’s listing on WWE.com, Cena is now featured front and center on the show’s advertising, having previously not been confirmed to be appearing.
Cena’s opponent Cody Rhodes is also set to feature on the show, which at the time of writing is the only event between now And WrestleMania 41 that both he and Cena are set to appear on together.
Cena had previously appeared on three consecutive week’s of WWE Raw during the company’s recent European tour, with he and Cody facing off in Brussels, Glasgow and London – the latter of which saw The American Nightmare deliver a Cross Rhodes to Cena.
We will be sure to provide further updates if there are any more changes to Cena’s schedule both before and after WrestleMania.
