2026 Royal Rumble iron-man Je’Von Evans has named three top WWE stars he hopes to work with on the main roster.
This past weekend, nobody lasted longer in the men’s Royal Rumble match than Evans, who entered at #8 and lasted 41 minutes, two minutes longer than Oba Femi in second place.
Evans has been part of a recent crop of call-ups from NXT that has included the likes of Femi, Trick Williams, Jordynne Grace and more, and has picked up several consecutive wins on Raw since his official debut.
Speaking with Busted Open, Evans has named three top stars he hopes to work with on WWE premier shows. He said:
“Number one, I feel like I would go back to me and GUNTHER. GUNTHER can bring out a side of anybody that… I would just have to stop doing flips and actually throw hands with GUNTHER. That’s just the side that he would bring out of me.
“Also maybe me and Rey Mysterio. I think that would be very, very cool.
“I’ve never had a match with CM Punk so I’ll put Punk up there for sure. I feel like that would be a cool thing, and I feel like Punk would help me with my comfortability with promos and being in a ring while talking on the mic.
“I don’t think fans understand how difficult it is to be in the middle of the ring and talk on the mic in this big arena, because when you’re talking, your voice echoes.
“It’s so difficult to cut a promo in the middle of the ring, but I feel like the more reps I get with that… and Punk is just so organic on the mic.”
