Jelly Roll shared a non-televised moment with two WWE stars during his appearance on last night’s NXT (July 29).
Ahead of his WWE in-ring debut at SummerSlam this weekend, multi-time Grammy nominated artist Jelly Roll stopped by the Performance Center in Orlando, FL to watch this week’s NXT action.
During the show fans snapped pictures and videos of Jelly Roll, with the country star seemingly enjoying the efforts Hank & Tank in their dark match with Drako Knox & Harley before the show went on the air.
As can be seen down below, Jelly was up on his feet to cheer on the reigning NXT Tag Team Champions, and was later snapped doing Hank and Tank’s signature ‘HONK HONK’ taunt with them in the crowd after they secured the win.
As revealed by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, Jelly has been a regular of the PC and Orlando throughout his preparations for his SummerSlam match, working with the likes of Kevin Owens and Jacob Fatu.
At the time of writing Jelly is still set to team with Randy Orton against the team of Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre on WWE SummerSlam Night One, however, there has been recent concern regarding the status of McIntyre after he revealed that he’s stranded in England due to not having his United States passport.
Amid the uncertainty regarding McIntyre’s status, one WWE star has stepped up to volunteer to take the Scotsman’s place at SummerSlam- click here for full details.
