Jade Cargill says she wants to compete against male WWE stars, as well as be managed by Paul Heyman.
The reigning WWE Women’s Champion has been a force on Friday Night SmackDown since dethroning Tiffany Stratton for the gold at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1, and is set to walk into one of WrestleMania 42’s marquee matches against Rhea Ripley this Sunday.
While it remains to be seen whether Jade will be able to knock off Ripley and hold onto her gold beyond this weekend, she does have aspirations beyond just the women’s division in WWE.
During an interview with 8 News Now Las Vegas, Cargill named Chyna as her inspiration in WWE growing up, which then led to the question of whether she, like “The Ninth Wonder of the World” could potentially step in the ring and compete with WWE’s male stars.
Naming Paul Heyman as her manager of choice if she was to crossover and compete against men, Cargill said:
“Chyna, she was an idol. I didn’t see women who looked as muscular as I was so seeing her go out there and owning the stage, I was like, that’s what I wanna be.
(Would she like to compete against male WWE stars like Chyna) Of course if they let me. I would love Paul Heyman to be my manager if I’m going that route. But if they let me I would love that and I would take over for sure.”

Will Jade Cargill Retain The WWE Women’s Championship Against Rhea Ripley At WrestleMania
Jade Cargill enters WrestleMania 42 as the WWE Women’s Champion, but signs point to Rhea Ripley scoring the win and walking away with the title.
While Cargill has her backup in Michin and B-Fab, it could be that IYO SKY finds a way to get onto Mania by coming out as the equalizer and helping Ripley to victory.
