Inaugural AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill has addressed the possibility of a potential dream match against WWE star Sasha Banks.
Banks has not been seen on WWE television since she walked out of the company with tag team partner Naomi prior to the May 16, 2022 episode of WWE Raw.
For a time, it was speculated that Banks could leave WWE for AEW due to her issues with the company.
Speaking in an interview with Steve Fall of Ten Count, Cargill addressed the possibility of the two women meeting:
“I have no idea. Fans always want to create these fantasy matches that will probably never happen. But where there’s a will, there’s a way. Let’s just say that with wrestling and how unpredictable wrestling is, you just never know.”
Cargill recently achieved her 41st consecutive win in AEW since joining the company, continuing her streak of dominance.
Banks meanwhile has not been seen in a wrestling context since walking out of the company, despite remaining contracted.
She and Naomi both appeared in the intro to the WWE Crown Jewel event last weekend, though that appears to have been a mistake from the company.
She has, however, been spotted at a number of high profile events such as the She Hulk premier and New York Fashion Week, often with Naomi in tow.
Sasha has teased that a date she has waited six months for is on the horizon some time soon, which ramped up speculation.
