WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill has opened up on what to expect from her WrestleMania 42 match with Rhea Ripley.
At the Elimination Chamber, Rhea Ripley scored the victory in the titular match, earning her a shot at Jade Cargill’s WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Rhea and Jade have begun their rivalry on SmackDown following her victory, and Jade has now opened up on what to expect from the bout.
Jade Cargill Gives Thoughts On Rhea Ripley WrestleMania 42 Showdown
Speaking to Complex’s Graps the Podcast, Jade gave her thoughts on what to expect from the match between her and Rhea at WrestleMania 42.
Jade noted that the match won’t be easy, but she knows she will leave Las Vegas still with her title.
She said:
“I don’t wanna say this is gonna be an easy match, it’s not. I’m going against the top girl, the number one girl in the company, I don’t think anyone would argue that.
“Do I know that I’m coming home with my title? Yes, I do. I’m gonna go balls to the wall, I’m going in with no regrets, I’ve learned from my mistakes in the past.
“Rhea has never seen someone like me, I think she’s phenomenal in her own right, but I’m phenomenal in mine as well. I’m not about to end my undefeated streak at WrestleMania, I’m about to go 3-0 on that ass.
“I think you guys are gonna see us put on a show and a clinic. I think she’s great, but I’m better. I’m a powerhouse, no-one has seen me go toe to toe with such a stellar opponent, and yes this will be the grandest match of my career so far, and the fact I’m just starting and have so much to go is crazy.”

Who Should Win Jade Cargill & Rhea Ripley’s WrestleMania 42 Clash
Jade Cargill enters WrestleMania as a champion for the first time in her career, with her reign as champion beginning back in November after knocking off Tiffany Stratton.
It has been over a year since Rhea Ripley has reigned as a world champion in WWE, and with a star of her calibre, it’s undeniable that she will soon win gold again.
While Jade’s recent conversations with B-Fab on SmackDown could lead to her coming to Jade’s aid, Cargill has faced most of the women on the SmackDown roster already, while it would be a whole new list of challengers for Ripley.
As such, WWE should probably run with a Rhea Ripley victory in Las Vegas.
