SmackDown star Jade Cargill has shared a cryptic post amid her continued absence from WWE television.
On the November 22 edition of SmackDown, co-holder of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill was written off TV via a backstage attack, with the assailant still yet to be revealed.
With Naomi replacing Cargill as Bianca Belair’s WWE Women’s Tag Team co-champion on Friday’s SmackDown (December 20), Cargill has now finally remerged on social media for the first time since being written off.
Posting to Twitter (see below), Cargill shared only an image of her face with blood on her cheek and eye – the same injuries she was shown to have when she was laid out on a car windshield over a month ago.
There was no caption accompanying the image, leaving fans to interpret the meaning of Cargill’s post for themselves.
Since being written off TV there has been conflicting reports regarding Cargill’s status, with initial reports detailing an unspecified injury while others reported that her absence was only in storyline.
The most recent reporting has been that Cargill’s injury is indeed legitimate, however, it was noted in a new update from PWInsider that Cargill had been busy with projects outside the WWE amid her absence from the company.
We will continue to provide updates on Cargill’s WWE return as/when more information becomes available.
