Here’s what happened with IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley after they were attacked in the closing moments on Monday Night Raw.
This week’s WWE Raw went off air with Asuka standing tall over – despite having lost to – Rhea Ripley, leading to her attacking IYO SKY.
With Asuka having suffered a loss to Rhea Ripley on the September 22 episode of WWE Raw, she would turn on her now former teammate, IYO SKY, encouraging Kairi Sane to join in on the attack.
Ripley was unable to intervene due to being blinded by mist, and Sane reluctantly helped Asuka with the attack on SKY.
Footage has now emerged of what transpired after WWE Raw went off-air, showing an interaction between SKY and Ripley.
As can be seen in the fan footage from the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, Ripley can be seen comforting SKY.
SKY appears to say something to Ripley, leading to Ripley embracing SKY, with the pair walking across the ring and taking a moment sitting on the side.
Over the past few weeks, Asuka had been showing her annoyance at Ripley’s closeness with SKY.
Last night’s WWE Raw saw a backstage altercation which led to the match seen in the main event of the show.
