IYO SKY Says She Hopes To See Asuka At WrestleMania 42

IYO SKY has addressed fiery comments made by Asuka, hoping to see her fellow star at WrestleMania 42 later this month.

On last night’s episode of WWE Raw, Asuka sent a message to IYO SKY, accusing her former friend of taking advantage of all that had been offered.

With Asuka making it clear that she was going to take everything away from IYO SKY, accusing the younger star of being selfish, believing that the plan was also to take Kairi Sane away, breaking up the Kabuki Warriors.

Asuka would also state that she came to WWE to pave the way for Sane and SKY, with no expectation of thanks after she “sacrificed everything” with love at the heart of everything she did.

Believing that SKY had taken advantage of the love shown, Asuka would paint a picture of the future, promising “one final lesson” will be taught and that she will take everything from her former friend.

SKY has now responded to the message, reflecting on the words of love and Asuka’s ongoing treatment of Kairi Sane, tweeting:

“Asuka….

“The achievements you’ve made in WWE have been truly brilliant.

“Kairi and I have always looked up to you.

“But the way you’re treating Kairi right now is changing all of that!!

“If dragging Kairi around and using her as a shield is your idea of “LOVE,” then my “LOVE” is to go anywhere and everywhere to be Rhea’s shield.

“I’m DEFINITELY NOT afraid to face you, my senior, whom I once LOVED so dearly.

“Let’s settle this once and for all: which of our “LOVES” deserves to have it all.

“Hope to see you in Vegas.”

The Rhiyo relationship saw Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from January 5 until their loss to The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) on February 27.

Ripley is set to face Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas on April 18 & 19.

Last night’s episode of WWE Raw saw Cargill attack IYO SKY, while Rhea Ripley was restrained by B-Fab and Michin.

Asuka Leads The Way In WWE

A prominent star in her own right, Asuka signed with WWE in September 2015, becoming the first female Japanese star to sign with the company since Bull Nakano put pen to paper in 1994.

Going on to become NXT Women’s Champion, Asuka’s main roster call-up would see a near two-and-a-half-year undefeated streak and lead to more championship gold in singles and tag team action on WWE Raw and SmackDown.

Sane and SKY would follow suit, with both being subject to much speculation ahead of eventually signing around March 2017, and the latter eventually becoming a WWE Women’s Grand Slam Champion, following in the footsteps of Asuka.

A trio of top stars in Japan, Asuka, SKY and Sane have continued to flourish as WWE stars, remaining in a prominent position on a stacked women’s roster.
