The streamer IShowSpeed has addressed an attack on LA Knight, which left the WWE Raw star on his back last night.
Having been told, by WWE Raw general manager Adam Pearce, that he would be in the front row for the WWE Tag Team Championship match at Madison Square Garden, IShowSpeed would find himself involved in the match itself.
The Usos defended the World Tag Team Championship against The Vision, with Logan Paul’s own mother handing him some brass knuckles.
Serving as guest commentator for the Street Fight tag team match, LA Knight had other ideas, disarming Paul, with IShowSpeed choosing that moment to wear the offending implement.
With Knight approaching IShowSpeed from behind, the streamer would deliver a knockout blow to the WWE star, realizing what he’s done and rapidly leaving the scene.
Addressing the seemingly inadvertent attack in a post on Instagram, IShowSpeed reiterated his inadvertent actions, stating:
“I SWEAR I DIDN’T MEAN TO DO THAT”
The brass knuckles would come into play later in the match in the hands of Logan Paul, who want on to lace Jimmy Uso with them, only for Jey to throw The Vision member out of the ring.
Unfortunately, for The Usos, this didn’t prevent Austin Theory from covering Jimmy Uso for the win.
Cursed Times In WWE For IShowSpeed
It’s not been a good time for IShowSpeed in WWE, with his in-ring debut taking place at last year’s Royal Rumble, only to be rapidly eliminated by a Bron Breakker Spear.
More recently, the streamer hasn’t fared much better, having been cursed by Danhausen, leading to a string of bad luck as he forgot his YouTube password, missed a flight and has been late to events.
While IShowSpeed would attempt to get the curse removed on last night’s WWE Raw, the demand from Danhausen of “ten billion dollars, rights to your streaming services, a personal assistant and a camera boy” would be rejected.
It remains to be seen whether IShowSpeed will step into the ring once more, although it was previously reported that he spent time in the WWE Performance Center as part of his ‘Speed Goes Pro’ series.
Aside from his Royal Rumble debut, IShowSpeed is yet to make an in-ring return in WWE, although that may change with WrestleMania 42 fast approaching, his ongoing issues with Danhausen and now his inadvertent attack on LA Knight.
