The first match has been announced for the upcoming WWE NXT Heatwave premium live event on August 24 in Lowell.
At WWE Evolution, Blake Monroe was at ringside for Jordynne Grace’s NXT Women’s Championship clash with Jacy Jayne, but disaster would strike at the end of the match.
Blake would end up hitting Grace with the NXT Women’s Championship, turning heel just weeks into her WWE run, and costing Jordynne the match with Jacy.
The following week on NXT, Blake Monroe would end up taking out Jordynne Grace with a DDT at ringside, with Jordynne attempting to get revenge on Blake since.
On tonight’s NXT, Jordynne Grace would arrive during Blake Monroe’s match with Kelani Jordan, chasing her out of the arena, causing Kelani to score the win by disqualification.
Later in the night, NXT General Manager Ava would confirm that Jordynne and Blake would go one on one at the upcoming WWE Heatwave premium live event on August 24.
