Finn Balor has broken his silence after his return on WWE Raw, having been ejected from Judgment Day earlier this month.
Finn Balor was previously removed from Judgment Day after growing tensions with Dominik Mysterio finally erupted on the March 9 episode.
Having last competed at Elimination Chamber on February 28, Balor is yet to have his return match, but made his presence felt on Monday’s (March 23) episode of WWE Raw.
On an episode that saw Penta retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio, Balor would interfere in proceedings, ensuring that the title didn’t change hands.
Balor has now addressed his actions, sharing two images on Twitter of him hitting JD McDonagh with a Coup de Grace.
After taking McDonagh out, Finn Balor captioned these photos:
“One Down”
Balor would initially target Mysterio, only for McDonagh to save his fellow Judgment Day member, who was last seen running into the crowd.
Judgment Day Is Upon Us
Shortly after being banished from Judgment Day, Balor tweeted 1,372, which is the number of days that he was a member of the faction.
Having been instrumental in the removal of Damian Priest as a member at SummerSlam in 2024, the current WWE Tag Team Champion would share his own thoughts on Balor’s removal.
Priest wasn’t the only one to fall out of favor with Judgment Day at SummerSlam, with Dominik Mysterio betraying Rhea Ripley and siding with Liv Morgan.
As it presently stands, it’s Dominik Mysterio who is the serving member of Judgment Day, officially joining in September 2022, months after Finn Balor first joined and removed Edge.
Judgment Day appears to have a united front, despite this shift in membership, with Liv Morgan calling Balor ‘dead weight’ in a recent interview.
Despite their current composition, they hold no mainline WWE titles, with Dominik Mysterio losing the Intercontinental Championship after being cursed by Danhausen – although he is still the AAA Mega Champion
Morgan will try to right the championship record at WrestleMania 42, when she challenges Stephanie Vaquer for the WWE Women’s World Championship.
The Judgment Day member has had harsh words to say about her WrestleMania 42 opponent, saying “there’s no way she would have lasted twelve years in WWE.”
Formed in 2022 in the wake of WrestleMania 38, next month’s WWE Premium Live Event will mark four years of Judgment Day and its third pivotal iteration.
Whether the faction can make it through its fifth anniversary at WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia, although the date is yet to be confirmed, remains to be seen.
