Danhausen has now made his first comments following his WWE debut appearance at Elimination Chamber 2026 tonight.
Over the past couple of weeks on Raw or SmackDown, a mystery crate was backstage at Raw and SmackDown, that said don’t open until February 28.
At Elimination Chamber, the crate was taken onto the stage and out of it came former AEW star Danhausen.
He made his entrance with new theme music and gave a jar of teeth to Michael Cole before leaving.
After his first WWE appearance, Danhausen has taken to social media with a comment, writing:
Danhausen is ALIVE and back inside your television.
Danhausen’s AEW departure was officially confirmed yesterday when he was removed from the company’s website roster page.
He signed in 2022 but hadn’t appeared on AEW TV since 2023 or in Ring of Honor since 2024.
When the crate opened, it revealed a coffin, and Danhausen then came out of that coffin.
Reacting to his debut, WWE star Chelsea Green tweeted:
😏 it’s about time!!!
Danhausen made his appearance just after his close friend CM Punk had retained the World Heavyweight Championship in his hometown of Chicago against Finn Balor.
Punk celebrated in the ring with his wife AJ Lee, who had won the Women’s Intercontinental Title from Becky Lynch in the previous match.
