Danhausen has given his thoughts on the crowd reaction to his WWE debut at Elimination Chamber in Chicago on February 28.
Danhausen’s debut came when he and several dancing women in his facepaint emerged out of the large crate that had been bouncing between WWE Raw and SmackDown for a couple of weeks.
His appearance saw him make his entrance, hand Michael Cole a jar of teeth, then finish the routine in the ring to a poof of pyro.
The live crowd in Chicago booed the segment afterwards, although Danhausen claimed the following night that he debuted to “thunderous applause and cheers.”
On the Raw Recap tonight, he reiterated that he believes he received a positive reception for his debut in Chicago, saying:
“Oh, there was thunderous applause. It was great. I came out and they yelled, ‘Yes! Finally Danhausen has arrived.’
“I could hear each and every one of them hop off their seats and get up and applaud, and say, ‘Up yours Dracula, Danhausen did it first.’
“Because Danhausen shipped himself in a crate across the seas first, but it was to WWE, it was not The Last Voyage of the Dementor or whatever it’s called (Demeter).”

Why Danhausen Gave Teeth To Michael Cole
Danhausen was also asked about Michael Cole’s confusion about the jar of teeth Danhausen gave him.
Danhausen said:
“Well, you know, I don’t expect everyone to get it right away.
“But I was quite rude to Mr Wade Barrett. I had some Bad News for him, if you will. I said, ‘I don’t have any gifts for you – up yours.’
“But I gave it to Michael Cole because he’s been around for a long time, he’s earned it. He earned it and I hope he uses it well.”
