The November 4 episode of WWE Raw saw Damian Priest become number one contender for GUNTHER’s World Heavyweight Championship.
In the main event of Monday’s show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Priest competed in a four-way match that also featured Seth Rollins, Dominik Mysterio and Sheamus.
Interference from Bronson Reed saw the big man destroy the competitors before focusing on Rollins, with Dominik Mysterio keeping well out of the way of the wrath.
With Reed having done what he set out to do, Mysterio would attempt to capitalize only to be on the receiving end of South of Heaven from Priest.
In a WWE Raw Exclusive that can be seen below this news story, Priest would reflect on beating his former Judgment Day teammate, saying:
“It does feel good. It feels really good getting the win over that little prick, but let’s focus on what’s important.
“I’m the number one contender, GUNTHER, one way or another, I’m becoming El Campeon again.
“And, Bronson Reed, don’t think for one second that I’m going to let slide what you did out there.
“When I’m done and become the World Heavyweight Champion once again, a receipt’s coming for you.”
