Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has praised a ‘magical’ WWE star who he would trust if he was running the show.
In recent weeks, alongside his quest to recapture the WWE Championship, Cody Rhodes has also butted heads backstage with Sami Zayn, with Sami taking exception to the way Cody has earned opportunities at the WWE Championship.
Speaking on Graps the Podcast, Cody spoke about Sami, calling him ‘magical’.
He said:
“Sami is legit magical, and I feel like I watch moments, you know wrestlers are all ‘everything revolves around me’, your emotions, the efforts you put in, it can be very selfish in it’s thoughts.
“Lately I’ve looked at it from the perspective of ‘I wonder if I was planning this show, what would I do, who would I like, who can I count on?’
“He’s special. The way he wrestles his matches, and even when a crowd is a little subdued, or if they’re red hot. Sami, he’s very good.”
