A steel cage match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins was announced during tonight’s March 3 episode of WWE Raw.
Tonight’s episode of Raw kicked off with an irate CM Punk addressing his enemies, which, in his own words, is everyone.
He started with The Rock and John Cena after what they did at Elimination Chamber, before turning his attention to Seth Rollins.
Rollins was eliminated from the Elimination Chamber by Punk, but stayed in the cage and curb stomped Punk afterwards, which Cena took advantage of to score the win in the Chamber.
It didn’t take long for Rollins to come out into the arena, with him and Punk engaging in a chaotic minutes-long brawl around ringside.
The brawling continued backstage until General Manager Adam Pearce and the security team finally managed to get them separated.
Rollins wasn’t particularly happy about not getting to fight with Punk some more, and demanded Pearce do the right thing and set up a match.
Pearce agreed, announcing it’ll take place on next week’s March 10 episode of WWE Raw at Madison Square Garden in New York.
