For the second time, a top WWE star has suffered a sartorial violation, and CM Punk has taken a shot at them after Raw.
The August 4 episode of WWE Raw saw Roman Reigns leave without his sneakers, taken by Bronson Reed in a repeat of a moment from before SummerSlam.
With Reigns losing his sneakers once again, things weren’t particularly calm between The OTC, CM Punk and LA Knight, as shown in footage shared after WWE Raw went off air.
CM Punk and Roman Reigns can be seen getting heated in that footage, with the Second City Saint now taking a shot at the shoeless WWE star.
In an Instagram Stories post, CM Punk sent a simple yet brutal shot in the direction of Roman Reigns, posting a photo of his legs, complete with shoes, and a message that reads:
“At least I still have my shoes.”
At WWE SummerSlam, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso would be victorious over Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, although Paul Heyman would leave proudly wearing The OTC’s sneakers around his neck.
SummerSlam would also see CM Punk lose something that belonged to him, with his brief World Heavyweight Championship reign being ended by a returning Seth Rollins.
The name for Seth Rollins’ faction has been revealed, which you can read more about right here.
