The long-awaited WWE match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins has now been officially announced for a major upcoming show.
Tensions between CM Punk and Seth Rollins have been high ever since Punk made his return to WWE back at Survivor Series last year, but they really came to a head on tonight’s Raw show.
The show kicked off with a heated promo exchange between both men, before they ended up coming to blows, brawling around the arena before the fight was broken up by security and referees.
Rollins would then get in a heated exchange with Adam Pearce backstage, demanding that he make the match between the two official, which Pearce later did.
It was recently reported by Dr. Chris Featherstone of SportsKeeda, and later again from PWInsider, that WWE was planning the match between Rollins and Punk for the WWE Raw debut on Netflix on January 6.
Well, that is now official, with the match being announced for the show alongside ‘Tribal Combat’ between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
