CM Punk fired shots at Hulk Hogan during tonight’s January 20 episode of WWE Raw streaming live on Netflix.
Tonight’s show was the penultimate episode of Raw before the Royal Rumble event on Saturday, February 2.
CM Punk, who appeared for an interview segment tonight, is one of many big name stars who has been confirmed to be part of the men’s Royal Rumble match.
During his interview taking shots at others in the match, Punk said he “can see” himself throwing John Cena over the top rope, and reminded Roman Reigns that he needed Punk’s help at WarGames.
However, Punk also got in a shot at Hulk Hogan, who of course isn’t set to participate in the Rumble match.
Hogan made headlines after he was heavily booed by the crowd during his appearance on the Raw Netflix premiere episode on January 6.
Getting a big reaction from the crowd for his comments, Punk said:
“You can put Hulk Hogan in the Royal Rumble – I’ll throw his dusty ass over the top rope and I’ll kill HulkaMania once and for all.”
Logos for Hogan’s Real American Beer have been present on the ring mat alongside other sponsors since Raw’s move to Netflix.
Hulk Hogan has been advertised to appear at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in San Antonio, Texas this Saturday, January 25.
