Here’s what happened with CM Punk after the August 11 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw went off the air.
In the main event, Punk and Knight teamed up to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in a chaotic match that ended with a disqualification win.
With Seth Rollins interjecting himself into the match, despite having claimed to have left the Centre Videotron in Quebec City, the disqualification decision would see a beatdown on Punk and Knight.
It would be Jey Uso who would rush out to make the save, with Rollins and his cohorts hightailing it and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce setting a World Championship match for Clash in Paris on August 30.
Unhappy that CM Punk, Jey Uso and LA Knight would now be in a four-way match against Seth Rollins, The Visionary would lead another beatdown on his foes.
Footage has now emerged of what happened after WWE Raw went off air and it the events were led by none other than CM Punk, as can be seen below this news story.
In footage shared on YouTube, Punk can seen telling the fans he wants to send them home happy, before saying:
“So, I’m going to do my best Jey Uso impression right now.”
Taking a moment to get himself in character and to warm up, Punk would then Yeet for the crowd, donning Uso’s sunglasses.
The crowd would respond with their own round of yeets as Punk exited the ring to the applause of the fans.
