Here is the latest on a potential Chris Jericho WWE return at Royal Rumble, with the show just a matter of hours away.
With the January 31 WWE Premium Live Event set to emanate from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, there has been a lot of speculation about Chris Jericho potentially returning at this show.
This comes after previous reports that his AEW contract was set to expire on December 31, 2025, with Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated also reporting that WWE had discussed potentially debuting Chris Jericho on the January 5 episode of Raw.
Following Jericho not appearing on that edition of WWE Raw, there have been rumors swirling about the former world champion being a surprise entrant in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
This might not be the case however, because as of writing (January 31, 5:25am ET), Chris Jericho is still listed on the AEW roster page.
It’s worth noting that this roster page has been updated since December 31, with Powerhouse Hobbs removed following his AEW exit, ahead of reportedly signing with WWE.
We will continue to provide updates on Chris Jericho’s status as they become available.
