WWE's Chelsea Green in a wheelchair

WWE’s Chelsea Green has shared a positive update on her status after suffering an ankle injury during an Elimination Chamber qualifying match earlier this month.

The injury occurred during the February 6 episode of SmackDown, with Green, Tiffany Stratton and Lash legend facing off in a three-way for a spot in the Women’s Chamber Match.

Whilst Green seemingly confirmed that she had broken her ankle in a recent update via the ‘Chelsea Chronicle,’ the former two-time Women’s United States Champion was later spotted without a walking boot whilst attending the WWE 2K26 Creator Fest at the company’s headquarters in Stamford, CT – boosting fans’ hopes to see her back in action before too long.

During an appearance on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Green confirmed that she chipped the bone off of the side of her ankle rather than breaking it as first feared:

“I feel really good all things considered.

“I chipped the bone off of the side of my ankle but I can still bear weight on it, so I’m kind of lucky I’m in between injured and hopefully cleared I don’t know.”

Despite being unable to compete, Green has remained on WWE SmackDown programming, albeit in a wheelchair commandeered by her Secret Hervice Slaygeant Alba Fyre.

We continue to wish Green all the best in her recovery and will share more updates on her status as they become available.
