There has been an update on the upcoming commentary teams as WWE SmackDown is soon to shift to the USA Network.
For a period of time, both WWE Raw and SmackDown will both air on the USA Network and now more is known about the commentary desks for each.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves will be the commentary team for WWE SmackDown when it moves to USA Network starting September 13.
Starting next week on Raw, a new face to WWE commentary but not at all to sports broadcasting.
Joe Tessitore is set to begin his time on commentary with WWE after an already lengthy career on ESPN doing play-by-play for Monday Night Football, College Game Day and more.
It’s already been confirmed that Cole will move back to Raw to reunite with Pat McAfee from the Netflix premiere onwards at the start of 2025.
McAfee will be absent from now until then due to his football season obligations.
That leaves Wade Barrett, who, while not confirmed yet, would be the obvious candidate to partner Tessitore on Raw.
So in summary – from this month until January, the SmackDown team will be Michael Cole and Corey Graves, and the Raw team will be Joe Tessitore and most likely Wade Barrett.
Then, from January, the Raw on Netflix team will be Cole and Pat McAfee, with the SmackDown team from that point reportedly planned to be Tessitore, Graves and Barrett.
