A current champion suffered an injury on last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, and will address their status tonight.
On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair made the latest defence of the Women’s Tag Team Championship, defeating NXT’s Sol Ruca and Zaria.
Sol was looking to capture her third championship, with her currently reigning as both NXT Women’s North American and Women’s Speed Champion, but an unfortunate update has emerged on her status.
Earlier today, Sol took to social media, where she announced that she would be addressing the fans on tonight’s episode of NXT due to some ‘recent occurrences’.
Now, per WWE.com’s preview of the show, WWE has confirmed that Sol Ruca suffered an injury during her match on SmackDown, and will provide an update on tonight’s episode of NXT.
Per WWE:
NXT Women’s North American Champion and Women’s Speed Champion Sol Ruca will provide an update on the injury that she suffered on Friday Night SmackDown.
