WWE NXT star Kelani Jordan has reacted to her fiancé Carmelo Hayes’ US Championship win, following this week’s edition of SmackDown.
In a match which aired on the December 26 SmackDown episode, Carmelo Hayes challenged for Ilja Dragunov’s WWE US Title.
Hayes was ultimately victorious, pinning Dragunov following a Nothing But Net top rope leg drop.
With Hayes recently taking to Twitter to share his first comments on his championship win, the new champion’s real-life partner has now reacted to this title change.
Jordan took to Twitter to share photos of herself and Hayes, who was holding the US Championship.
Kelani Jordan captioned her post:
Feels like Christmas all over again ❤️🇺🇸🏆
While Jordan is currently part of the WWE NXT roster, she was holding the TNA Knockouts Championship up until recently.
She had won the vacant gold at TNA Victory Road on September 26, and held the title up until NXT Gold Rush on November 18, when Lei Ying Lee won a three-way bout also featuring Jordynne Grace for the gold.
