If someone could have predicted that at the start of this season of Mixed Match Challenge Season 2, the finals would be R-Truth & Carmella vs Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox, I’d have slapped them upside the head. And yet, here we are. The finals took place at WWE TLC, and at the end of their…match(?), Truth and Carmella stood victorious.
As per the rules, R-Truth and Carmella will now be entering at the number 30 spots in their respective Royal Rumble matches. No doubt hijinks and shenanigans will ensue to some degree.
As an aside, they also won an all-expenses vacation, because apparently this is a gameshow or something. In a hilarious skit, R-Truth announced that they would be going to the WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, much to the chagrin of Carmella.
This will most likely lead to some comedy skits or something involving dance breaks with Vince McMahon. Oh god, I’ve said it now. It’ll happen.
