A canceled AEW crossover match is officially back on for NJPW Wrestle Dynasty following an announcement on social media.

It was announced several weeks ago that AEW’s Young Bucks would be making their return to NJPW, challenging Great-O-Khan and Henare for the IWGP Tag Team Championships at the Wrestle Dynasty pay-per-view on January 5.

However, these plans were thrown into doubt when Henare suffered a knee injury during the World Tag League tournament.

The match was confirmed to be canceled shortly thereafter, with O-Khan and Henare vacating their titles asa result.

In a new announcement several days later however, it has now been confirmed that Young Bucks’ NJPW return match will take place after all, only now with Henare being replaced by a mystery partner for O-Khan.
