WWE star Bron Breakker

After a couple of months away, Bron Breakker has made his return to WWE at tonight’s WrestleMania 42 event in Las Vegas.

Breakker had been absent since February due to undergoing hernia surgery.

He was planned to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania prior to his absence, with Rollins facing GUNTHER instead.

It was during that match that Breakker made his return, as he speared Rollins during the match when the referee was checking on GUNTHER, which ultimately led to GUNTHER scoring the win.

Breakker then speared Rollins again post-match, running the length of the entrance ramp to do so, before celebrating with Paul Heyman.

Bron Breakker Back On Course To Become A Main Event Star In WWE

Now that he’s back in action, Bron Breakker has a year ahead of him to get to the main event of WWE WrestleMania 43 – and he may just do it.

At different points before plans changed for various reasons, Breakker was set to face CM Punk and Seth Rollins at Mania 42 – two massive matches that would have raised his profile just by being in them, and even more so if he ended up winning them.

Barring injuries or any other unforseen circumstances, there’s no reason Breakker can’t get back to the same level if not higher in time for next year, potentially headlining WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia for either the World Heavyweight Championship or Undisputed WWE Championship.

An upcoming match against Rollins is inevitable, and it’s not impossible that WWE holds off on doing it all the way until Mania next year with how much things get drawn out nowadays.

However, a more likely setting for it woud be SummerSlam, with Breakker scoring the win and setting him up to progress to a possible Royal Rumble win at the start of 2026.
