A WWE star has described 2025 as the “best year of her life” in a heartfelt New Year’s Day message to fans.
While many WWE stars had a memorable year in 2025, there is perhaps nobody on the roster who can claim to have had as much success as “La Primera” Stephanie Vaquer.
The Chilean star began 2025 by winning the NXT Women’s North American Championship at WWE Vengeance Day on February 15, before going on to capture the NXT Women’s Championship from Giulia less than a month later at NXT Roadblock.
After being the first woman in WWE history to hold both titles concurrently, Vaquer would then make the move to Monday Night Raw in June, earning a shot at the Women’s World Championship just over a month into her time on the main roster.
This success would culminate with both her first Women’s World Championship win at WWE Wrestlepalooza on September 20, and WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship win over Tiffany Stratton at WWE Crown Jewel in October.
Taking to Twitter, Vaquer reflected on 2025 and thanked her fans for believing in her and helping her dreams come true:
2025 was the best year of my life, and so much of that is thanks to all of you. Dreams came true, goals became reality, we made history together, and we lived moments I will never forget. Hearing the crowd chant “La Primera,” seeing signs with my name, and feeling that energy night after night… it’s unforgettable.
Your support, your love, and your motivation pushed me to keep going, to grow, and to dream even bigger.
I know where I come from, I know where I’m going, and with pride I can say it: I am the WWE Women’s World Champion.
Thank you for standing with me, and thank you for believing in me.

Vaquer ended 2025 with another successful defense of her Women’s World Championship, defeating Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez on the December 29 episode of WWE Raw.
