WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch has reacted to John Cena winning the Intercontinental Championship on tonight’s Raw.
John Cena is now officially a Grand Slam Champion, with him defeating Dominik Mysterio on tonight’s WWE Raw show in Boston to capture his first-ever Intercontinental Championship.
With Cena now reigning as champion, we have two all time greats holding Intercontinental Championships on the Raw brand, and it’s not just me saying it!
Taking to Twitter following Cena’s victory, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch shared a photo of herself with Cena and their titles, citing them as ‘the greatest wrestlers of all time’.
She said:
Intercontinental championships. It’s a GOAT thing.
We are the greatest wrestlers of all time. It’s not us saying it. Everybody says it. Sports Illustrated says it. Bleacher Report says it. HHH says it.
Becky is set to defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on next week’s Raw show in Madison Square Garden against Maxxine Dupri.
Next week’s Raw show in MSG will be Cena’s final WWE Raw appearance prior to his retirement on December 13.
