Bayley has sent a message ahead of a released WWE star’s first match in almost a year since their release from the company.
Back in May 2025, WWE held a round of talent releases, with over a dozen stars released from the company.
Among those was Dakota Kai, who hasn’t competed in a match since her release from WWE.
Dakota, now under the name Charlie, is set to make her return to the ring this Sunday at Pro Wrestling EVE’s Wrestle Queendom VIII show, facing off against former AEW Women’s Champion Kris Statlander.
Taking to Instagram Stories today, Bayley sent a message to Charlie ahead of her in-ring return, celebrating ‘Charlie returns to the ring week’.
Bayley pitched for Dakota Kai to be re-signed by the company back in 2022 ahead of her return from injury at SummerSlam, with both Dakota and IYO SKY joining Bayley for the initial iteration of Damage CTRL.
Bayley is currently in a team with Lyra Valkyria on WWE Raw, with the pair looking to earn a Women’s Tag Team Championship shot at WrestleMania.
