A WWE NXT star has named Alexa Bliss as one of her inspirations, recalling sharing the ring with the former women’s champion.
During an interview with Denise Salcedo, former NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley was asked about her inspirations and influences.
Naming Alexa Bliss as someone who has made a mark on her, Paxley said:
“Now, I do like a lot of heavier music, I watch a lot of anime, and Alexa Bliss is a huge inspiration for me.
“I feel like I take all these dark, creepy, weird, beautiful things and I’m like ‘Yes, I love all of that!’
“It just kind of compiles into the one thing, but I also think not really putting Tatum Paxley in one category of thing and just being like, walls down, I feel like that’s what she is.”

Recalling teaming with Izzi Dame to face Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair at the September 16, 2025 NXT Homecoming event, Paxley continued:
“I don’t know if I’ve said this to her face, it’s like one of those things where I’m like, do I just go up to her and say, ‘You’re the reason I’m here’?
“When I was with my former friend, Izzi Dame, Izzi’s idol is Charlotte Flair, mine’s Alexa Bliss, and we got to have a match against the two of them. We were just like, ‘Whoa, this is so perfect!’
“Since walking in here, I’m like, ‘Will I ever get the chance to stand in the ring with Alexa Bliss?’ And then I was, I’m standing there, staring at her, like ‘Oh my gosh, how did this happen?'”
