An update has emerged on the WWE roster status of AJ Lee following her Women’s Intercontinental Championship win at Elimination Chamber.
Lee made her return to WWE after over 10 years away on the September 5, 2025 episode of SmackDown.
Since then, she’s had three matches – the first coming when she teamed with CM Punk at Wrestlepalooza in September to defeat Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
In November, she won the women’s WarGames match for her team by making Lynch tap out for a second consecutive time.
Then, this past Saturday, she beat Lynch one-on-one to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Since pretty much all of her appearances have revolved around her feud with Raw-based Lynch, she has primarily been appearing on Raw since her return.
She now also holds Raw’s Women’s Intercontinental Title, and appeared on last night’s show to say that next time she’s in the ring, it’ll be to defend the championship.
Now, WWE‘s official website roster page has been updated to list AJ Lee on the Raw roster, which wasn’t previously the case as she hadn’t been listed on a specific brand since her return.
Next week’s Raw will see Asuka, Raquel Rodriguez, Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, Ivy Nile and IYO SKY compete in a gauntlet match to determine the #1 contender for Lee’s Women’s IC Title.
No date has been announced yet for that championship match, but it’s been heavily implied that it will be before WrestleMania, not at WrestleMania.
