An AEW star made their return on tonight’s AEW Dynamite show, with their first match in seven months now announced.
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa has not competed since the AEW All In Texas pay-per-view event back in July, where she was part of the Women’s Casino Gauntlet match.
Thunder had been out of action with an injury, with her making her return on tonight’s episode of Dynamite after seven months out of action.
Rosa appeared in a backstage segment with former AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander a week after her title loss to Thekla in last week’s Dynamite main event, with Rosa also having her eyes on Thekla and the title.
Statlander would warn Rosa about Thekla and the Triangle of Madness, but also announced she has not been cleared to compete for two weeks following last week’s match.
It was later announced that Thunder Rosa will compete in her first match in seven months on this Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, facing off against Julia Hart of the Triangle of Madness.
.@callmekrisstat is dead set on revenge against the newly crowned #AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla, but @thunderrosa22 is cleared and ready for a fight!
