The October 28 episode of AEW Rampage has recorded the show’s lowest viewership since July 2021 with fewer than 400,000 viewers.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 378,000 people viewed the October 28 edition of Rampage, which also drew a 0.12 in the key 18 – 49 demographic.
The number is a huge drop from the previous week’s 480,000 viewers and a minor drop from the 0.13 in the key demographic. The show was the number 27 cable original for the night.
AEW Rampage wasn’t the only wrestling show to see a sharp drop in the television ratings, as WWE SmackDown also posted a very low rating of 835,000 viewers, and a 0.23 in the key 18 – 49 demographic.
Smackdown’s number was way down from its usual average of around two million viewers. However, SmackDown was moved from it’s usual home on Fox to sister channel FS1, due to the MLB World Series. SmackDown was the number five cable original for the evening.
The World Series on Fox saw an enormous 11.5 million viewers.
