An AEW star has looked back at his victory over a member of the Don Callis Family, targeting Kazuchika Okada in the process.
One-third of the AEW World Trios Champions since Revolution, claiming the titles from the Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis), Kevin Knight has now set his sights on more gold.
Having been victorious over Okada in the Continental Classic back in December, Knight now wants a shot at the AEW International Championship.
In comments shared by the official AEW Twitter account, Knight reflected on his past victory over Okada, making his intentions clear, saying:
“What a year it’s been for ‘The Jet’ Kevin Knight. I mean, I became a two-time Trios Champion, and not to mention a couple of weeks ago, The Jet had MJF pinned for the World Title.
“But, do you know what, that’s neither here, neither there, we move on, because this past week, we defended these Trios titles against the Don Callis Family.
“It got me to thinking just how many memories I have with the DCF. And, it brought me back to the Continental Classic, where I beat the Ace of the Don Callis Family, Kazuchika Okada.
“Man, man. That was one of the best nights of my life, Okada. I know you remember it. I know you remember it. And, I’ve just been trying to recreate that feeling this whole, entire time.
“You’ve got something that I want, and best believe Imma come and get it.”

One-half of Jetspeed, alongside Mike Bailey, the final third of the Trios Championship is Mistico, with Adam Page having made up the three in their first reign.
A Happier Don Callis Family There Has Never Been
Currently sitting at fourteen members strong, The Don Callis Family has had quite the championship haul in AEW.
With Kyle Fletcher as the current TNT Champion and Okada holding the International Championship, the Family has also previously had members holding the World Trios Championship.
Okada is a former AEW Unified Champion, having held both the International Championship and Continental Championship until last year’s Worlds End, with Jon Moxley claiming the latter in the Continental Classic final.
Don Callis has made no secret of his plans to expand his Family, with Lio Rush recently falling under the gaze of the faction head.
With Will Ospreay, Sammy Guevara, Powerhouse Hobbs and Rush all having been members of the faction, it’s striking that, since its May 2023 inception, the Family is lacking any members from the women’s roster in AEW.
While little in the way of inroads has been made into a female member of the Don Callis Family, AEW is not short of potential candidates, should the opportunity arise.
