AEW Departure Confirmed

A departure from AEW has officially been confirmed as per a new update on the promotion’s website roster page.

There has been talk recently surrounding a few possible AEW exits, and now one of them has taken place.

Today, the official AEW website has removed Danhausen from its roster page list.

Danhausen joined AEW in early 2022, but hadn’t made a single appearance on AEW TV since late 2023, or in Ring of Honor since late 2024.

It had long been rumored that he was on his way out of the promotion, and that has now been confirmed.

Will Danhausen Join WWE

Previous reports have pointed to WWE being interested in signing Danhausen, even with The Rock specifically being named as a big fan.

Danhausen also has a well-known friendship with current WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, who even appeared on his YouTube vlog a few months ago.

WWE Elimination Chamber tomorrow night is set to host the opening of a mystery crate that has been showing up on Raw and SmackDown over the past couple of weeks.

One of the leading candidates to come out of the crate has been Danhausen due to the news about his potential – and now confirmed – AEW exit.

We’ll keep you posted on Danhausen’s future and whether he is indeed on his way to WWE.
