Tony Khan Says AEW Champion Is At His Best Right Now

AEW President Tony Khan has praised a current champion, believing he’s at his best right now, following his recent work.

MJF is the current AEW World Champion, winning the gold in a four-way match at Worlds End in December 2025.

Speaking with K&C Masterpiece on 105.3 The Fan, Tony Khan praised the champion, after hearing that MJF had previously called him both a mark and a visionary.

Believing that MJF is a big draw for the company, Khan said:

“MJF is a huge draw for AEW and also a brilliant wrestler. He’s somebody that’s been in AEW from day one and I always knew he had that potential.

“I always believed MJF could be a great world champion and now he has had some incredible runs at the top. I think MJF is at his best right now in AEW in 2026.”
