At WWE Crown Jewel earlier today, Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase that she won last month, betraying her friend Chelsea Green to cash in and become WWE Women’s Champion.
Tiffany’s cash in saw her turn heel for the first time since her last Money In The Bank cash in, and in doing so she now has a wide variety of opponents to face on the SmackDown roster.
Here are some potential first challengers for Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s Championship.
Chelsea Green
After betraying Chelsea at Crown Jewel, it would make sense that the two of them would continue their rivalry, this time over the WWE Women’s Championship.
Chelsea actually picked up the win at Crown Jewel over Liv Morgan to win the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship, though Tiffany ended up taking that title with her two after she took Chelsea’s WWE Women’s Title.
While the physical belts stay in Saudi Arabia, the match between them could also have the added layer of determining who is truly the Crown Jewel Champion.
Charlotte Flair
Tiffany Stratton made her first WrestleMania appearance at WrestleMania 41 last year, when she defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair.
The match saw Tiffany enter as the babyface while Charlotte entered as the heel, with Tiffany winning the match to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.
However, 18 months on from their initial rivalry, Charlotte Flair has gained a lot of support among the WWE fanbase, while Tiffany will enter the match as a hated heel after betraying Chelsea, so it would be an entirely different narrative this time around.
Bayley
Tiffany Stratton and Bayley have been strangely linked with each other since Tiffany arrived on the WWE main roster in 2024.
Tiffany debuted in the 2024 Royal Rumble, which was won by Bayley and saw Tiffany finish fourth, with Tiffany also being the first challenger for Bayley’s WWE Women’s Championship after she won the gold at WrestleMania 40.
Then, when Tiffany became champion last year, her first defence was also against Bayley, with the match being Bayley’s last on SmackDown before moving to Raw.
With Bayley potentially back on SmackDown on the road to War Games, the two of them could once again cross paths for the WWE Women’s Title.
