5. MJF

After being off AEW TV since his last appearance at September’s AEW All Out in a Tables n’ Tacks match against Mark Briscoe — a return from MJF could be on the horizon.

While the former AEW World Champion was reportedly out of action filming a new movie, Violent Night 2 which is reportedly nearing completion.

Possibly back for an appearance at Full Gear 2025, MJF could easily issue a challenge to either Samoa Joe or Hangman Adam Page depending on who leaves with the World title.

MJF continues to hold a contract for a championship match which he can ‘cash-in’, however unlike WWE’s Money in the Bank briefcase — it cannot be done as a surprise at any time.

While he hasn’t been seen in AEW action since March, Jay White could be poised to return in the near future.

Possibly set to return from injury, Switchblade Jay White could emerge as the next foe for Hangman Adam Page if he is able to escape Full Gear 2025 with the AEW World Championship.

However, if Page is to drop the title to Samoa Joe at Full Gear 2025, an even more intriguing rivalry could emerge for Jay White.

Last seen on AEW TV in November 2024, perhaps Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. could be making an onsc-reen return at Full Gear 2025.

With Tony Khan having recently confirmed that Baker is still under contract with AEW, she certainly could make a return to screens.

While she boasted eviscerating skills on the microphone, Baker could also return to make a silver-tongued manager for any one on the AEW roster in need of a mouthpiece.

Since the top women’s bout of the night seems set for a champion versus champion showdown between AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone — perhaps Baker could even pop-up as a special guest referee.

2. Adam Copeland

After his last in-ring action in September at AEW All Out saw Cope pick up the victory — but also saw him witness his wife take a package piledriver from FTR — he needed some time to think.

Writing himself off of AEW TV, it has been reported that in actuality, Copeland was busy filming scenes for his Disney+ series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, where he plays the role of the God of War, Ares.

However, with FTR capturing an AEW World Tag Team Championship match against Brodido at the event, perhaps it will be the perfect time for Copeland to return to prevent their victory.

Or moreover, arrive after a victory along with Cage to challenge the brand new champions to a match at the next AEW pay-per-view, World’s End.
