Zack Ryder was revealed to be LA Knight’s surprise opponent in the Last Time Is Now tournament, which is set to determine John Cena’s final opponent.

In a post-match interview, Ryder indicated that he hadn’t signed a full-time deal with WWE, stating that he doesn’t know whether or not to expect a call from the company, before LA Knight entered and noted that he didn’t know whether this was a “welcome back” or a “see you later.”

Cardona has now commented on his in-ring future, confirming that it was a one-time appearance.

Hopeful that he can return to WWE again, he noted the following on the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast:

“Hey guys, there’s merch on WWE Shop. Buy it, please buy all three shirts, maybe it won’t be a one-time thing.”
