A former WWE World Tag Team Champion has claimed that Penta will owe them $18,000 before the time they face off inside the ring on Monday’s Raw.
The Monday, August 18 episode of WWE Raw heads to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA – with one notable grudge match set for the card: Xavier Woods vs. Penta.
After seizing The New Day star’s extremely elaborate hat on the August 4 episode of Raw, Woods and Penta got into a heated face-to-face backstage on Raw, leading to Adam Pearce to book a match between the pair on Monday.
Ahead of the match, Woods took to Twitter to breakdown the amount Penta owes to him for assaulting he and Kofi Kingston and causing “irreparable damage” to the hat.
According to Woods the “grieving hat” is worth $12,000 dollars, but that won’t be all that Penta owes him, as an extra $1,000 a day will be added to his bill for every day that passes between now and Monday night.
Owing a total of $18,000, Woods promised to “beat the breaks” off of Penta and pin him inside the ring on Monday before forcing him to pay what he owes.
