WWE Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy ahead of WrestleMania

Find out who won the 2024 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of WrestleMania 40 on tonight’s WWE SmackDown.

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown may have kicked off with the KO Show featuring guest Randy Orton (with an interruption from Logan Paul) but the first match of the night was a big one.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal took place on tonight’s WWE SmackDown (April 5) ahead of WrestleMania 40.

With a favorite to win the battle royal Omos arriving last, it was Pretty Deadly who stepped up to the Nigerian Giant to kick off the match.

However as the other competitors stood by and watched motionless, Omos eliminated first Kit Wilson and then Elton Prince eliminated himself as Pretty Deadly left first.

More eliminations kicked off from there with the field eventually being thinned down to the two of the biggest WWE competitors.

Ivar of the Viking Raiders and Big Bronson Reed were the final two in the match, putting on an athletic hoss fight in the final moments.

In the end, Big Bronson Reed won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal for the first time in his career.

Still to come on tonight’s WWE SmackDown, Jey Uso will take on Solo Sikoa and Zelina Vega is set for action against Elektra Lopez.
