A WWE star has teased a potential return after months away from TV following an announcement on last night’s April 1 episode of NXT.
NXT opened with General Manager Ava declaring that Stephanie Vaquer would be relinquishing the NXT Women’s North American Championship, so she’s now just NXT Women’s Champion instead of holding both titles.
Ava also announced that the new North American Champion would be determined in a six-woman ladder match at Stand & Deliver, with qualifying matches taking place over the next three weeks before then.
Teasing a return to be part of the qualifying matches was former Chase U member Thea Hail, who has been off TV since the group was forced to disband last November.
In response to the announcement, she simply tweeted “👀👀👀”, with many fans hoping to see her back in action soon.
Since the end of Chase U, Hail has been working matches at untelevised live events, so she hasn’t been completely absent despite not appearing on TV.
She hasn’t had a televised match since July 2024.
As for the other members of the group, Duke Hudson was released, Riley Osborne is active on WWE Evolve but hasn’t been on NXT, and Andre Chase is back on NXT seemingly forming a new version of Chase U with Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors.
In last night’s ladder match qualifiers, Zaria defeated Lash Legend, and Kelani Jordan defeated Roxanne Perez.
