A WWE star has responded to false speculation that they had been released from the company following a tweet they posted earlier today.
Earlier today, WWE LFG Season One winner Tyra Mae Steele shared a tweet about a dream she had where she took part in an Olympic wrestling world tournament, only to return to WWE where she was fired, posing the question whether or not the dream was a dream or a nightmare.
She wrote:
On a weekend off working for WWE, I went back to Olympic wrestling, won gold at Worlds, prize purse was $350000…. Tried to go back to WWE that Monday. They moved me up to Raw, just to tell me they had to let me go bc I went behind their back….
So was this a
(Dream) (Nightmare)
Tyra’s post led to speculation that she was referring to a real life situation, and that she had been released from the company, which has been confirmed to not be the case.
Taking to Twitter later in the day, Tyra reacted to the speculation that she had been released, saying:
I love that yall care, but im living my best life in WWE. Getting better and better everyday, I mean didya see me last night on Evolve? Trust im not going anywhere for a long time.
Tyra was in action on last night’s WWE Evolve show, where she unsuccessfully challenged Kendal Grey for the Evolve Women’s Championship.
