WWE Star Says They’re Suffering ‘Searing Neck Pain’ Following ‘Illegal’ Raw Move

A WWE star has said that they are suffering from ‘searing neck pain’ after taking an ‘illegal’ move during their match on WWE Raw.

Penta has found himself in a rivalry with Grayson Waller and the New Day in recent weeks on Raw, with Penta having defeated Waller in singles action.

Last night it was Xavier Woods’ turn to face Penta, and Woods had been preparing for the match all week, including seeking advice from Petey Williams ahead of SmackDown about how to counter the Mexican Destroyer.

However, it would not end up being enough, as Penta would hit the move on Woods to pick up the win on last night’s Raw.

Taking to Twitter after the show, Woods noted that Penta used an ‘illegal piledriver’ to pick up the victory, adding that he is suffering from ‘searing neck pain’.

He said:

Last night I beat @PENTAELZEROM within an inch of his life.

He then cheated by using a Mexican Destroyer, which is an illegal piledriver that should be banned.

I now am suffering from searing neck pain and will be getting my injury assessed by an accredited medical team.

Penta is seemingly set for a future clash with Kofi Kingston following his victory over Woods on Raw.
